It seems the answer is no. Does anybody know about the details of the bluetooth
protocol used by Focus Blue 5th gen? Dave? Is it possible that different hosts
should connect to a different bluetooth channel?

I'm not very familiar with bluetooth/serial programming. Any ideas on what I
could do to debug the issue?

[BRLTTY] Grant permission in BRLTTY

2023-08-18 Thread Life in Six Dots
Hello list,

I am running BRLTTY 6.5 on Ubuntu 23.04 with the GNOME desktop. There are
three capabilities not granted, as shown below. Can anyone tell me how I can
go about granting these permissions.

brltty: required capability not granted: cap_sys_admin (for injecting input
characters typed on a braille device)

brltty: required capability not granted: cap_sys_tty_config (for playing
alert tunes via the built-in PC speaker)

brltty: required capability not granted: cap_mknod (for creating needed but
missing special device files)

Many thanks, Paul
