They do ?  I did test with this option enabled and I did not see any unexpected
failures...  Was this on a 32-bit host ?  I must admit that I did not check
that particular combination.

FAOD, referring to the gas tests, I haven't looked into the ld tests yet.

Um, these tests now fail for my -m32 autotester setup.  I'm reopening this and
assigning it to me for the purpose of adding or using a 32-bit-host xfail
mechanism, which did not exist at the time of addition of these tests.  Please
be patient and wait a few days, ok?  Thanks.
