Hello, after looking at the package definition, I did see the wrapping code. So the required module should be available. I don’t know why gnucash doesn’t find it. I tried launching the program from the CLI to see more of what’s going on, but it doesn’t print anything when trying to add a new security. Best regards, Altadil

bug#65111: GnuCash cannot get online quotes
Hi, GnuCash 5.3, as packaged in Guix, cannot access quote sources. When adding a new security, it displays "Warning: Finance::Quote not installed properly." and the "Get Online Quotes" checkbox is greyed out. I am on an up-to-date Guix System and the rest of GnuCash seems to be working fine. It seems the package perl-finance-quote was not automatically installed with gnucash, so I installed it. I then tried to follow the steps in the upstream doc: https://www.gnucash.org/docs/v4/C/gnucash-help/finance-quote-install.html But it did not change the result. The flatpak version of GnuCash from flathub.org (also 5.3) appears to be working (on the same Guix System). Best regards, Altadil
bug#65056: https://issues.guix.gnu.org/ cannot be accessed through Tor
Hi, it is no longer possible to get to the bug database at https://issues.guix.gnu.org/ when using Tor Browser. The result is an error message saying: "The connection has timed out". It looks like a general block of Tor rather than a block of specific IPs, since attempting with different Tor circuits does not change the result. Best regards, Altadil
bug#62999: Cannot install Guix on desktop PC
Hi, when attempting to install Guix 1.4 on a desktop PC (x86_64), I was met with an unexpected error. The installer suggested I make and upload a dump and report by email. The dump was uploaded as installer-dump-b57e05e3. The log mentioned the drive chosen for installing on as "still in use", but that is the only clue I have right now. What can I do to further investigate ? What further details should I provide ? Respectfully, Altadil
