Is this something you would be willing to show me how to do? I would
like to be able to know how to do this as well.

I've just updated it.

Thanks,

Nothing for you to do there; Giuseppe or another GNU GSoC web pages
maintainer needs to do that. Sorry for the confusion.

How may I do it? I don't see any edit link

For GNU Hurd, please copy the stanza from
. (..., and
we shall update our project ideas page.)

And, I noticed at the beginning of the page that this says "GNU's
participation in Google Summer of Code 2018", which should be "2019".

That'd be great :)

I had been doing it in the past years. I had troubles because I don't
only have a full-time job, but also many free software projects and a
musician life, but if you don't have very time-consuming hobbies, that
can be done on free time.

Oh, great, thanks!  I'll thus request a link to our (somewhat outdated;
please anyone help clean up) list of project ideas to be included on the
main GNU project ideas page.

(I'll also sync the wiki to the GNU Hurd web pages -- long overdue...)

That completely depends on the student. In general, yes, it ought to be
possible. We have to carefully assess whether any student applying (if
any) is a match to the mentoring time you'll have available. That means
to start discussions early, and let the students show that they're a fit
for the task you'd like to mentor, within limits, of course, because
they'll typically also have other commitments right now.

possible to combine it with a full-time job?

Hi!

It's that time of the year again, Google Summer of Code:

Would anybody be available as a mentor for anything related to GNU Hurd,
and/or the other way round: anybody reading here intending to apply as a
student?

If we got a mentor, we should then...
