First sentence : "There are GNU/Hurd boxes that we're offering shell
accounts on. These are generally available for people interested in
contributing, and who have already shown some level of involvement
in the project. If you simply want to try the Hurd, the easiest way
is running it in a virtual machine."

In other words, just use a virtual machine.

And don't put a mailing list address in the BCC field.
