Hi Karl, hi all texinfo gurus,

we had some discussion in Debian to replace texi2html with texinfo's
makeinfo, but it turned out that makeinfo seems to be no replacement
by now:

One idea would be of course to allow for MathJax rendering. That should
be the easiest thing to set up, and would provide good results.
