[DragonFlyBSD - Bug #2728] Sudo doesn't reap it's children

2014-11-04 Thread bugtracker-admin
Issue #2728 has been updated by ftigeot.

sudo-1.8.11.p1 is working fine on FreeBSD -current, this may still be a
DragonFly bug.

Bug #2728: Sudo doesn't reap it's children
http://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/2728#change-12237

* Author: zcrownover
* Status: New
* Priority: Urgent
* Assignee:
* Category: Vendor software
* Target version: 4.0.x

Sudo fails to reap it's child processes, leaving zombies and never returning to
the original prompt. Sudo then fails to listen to term signals, requiring kill
signals to take them down. This affects the latest version of sudo in the
packages and tested on the 4.0 RC. To be clear, sudo commands will be invoked
successfully, but the prompt will not be returned. Although I've marked this as
3.9, it's actually for 4.0, the versions here need to be updated.

 pkg query %n-%v sudo
sudo-1.8.11.p1

[DragonFlyBSD - Bug #2728] Sudo doesn't reap it's children

2014-11-04 Thread bugtracker-admin
Issue #2728 has been updated by dragonflybsd1.

joris mentions the patch provided in that ticket worked.
What happens with that patch? pushed to freebsd ports? Are they not affected
by the issue -- truly? why not?

Bug #2728: Sudo doesn't reap it's children
http://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/2728#change-12242

* Author: zcrownover
* Status: New
* Priority: Urgent
* Assignee:
* Category: Vendor software
* Target version: 4.0.x

[DragonFlyBSD - Bug #2719] postgresql 9.3 package doesn't install necessary files for a postgresql server

Issue #2719 has been updated by dragonflybsd1.

Please report dports issues like this to:
https://github.com/DragonFlyBSD/DPorts/issues

That being said, this looks like an issue at the freebsd ports level. E.g. you
need to file a PR here instead:
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi

Bug #2719: postgresql 9.3 package doesn't install necessary files for a

PostgreSQL 9.2 package will install the necessary components for running
PostgreSQL, but the 9.3 package doesn't create a /usr/local/pgsql/data
directory.
