[DragonFlyBSD - Bug #2585] (New) Dfly 3.4.3 on ESXi 5.1, HP Smart Array P410 passthrough recognised, but not functioning
Issue #2585 has been reported by yggdrasil. Bug #2585: Dfly 3.4.3 on ESXi 5.1, HP Smart Array P410 passthrough recognised, but not functioning http://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/2585 * Author: yggdrasil * Status: New * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: * Target version: Just installed 3.4.3 in an ESXi on Proliant DL180G6. I wanted to use 3 disks attached to the Smart Array P410 in RAID5 mode solely for Dfly/HAMMER for backup purposes, so I configured it as passthrough in ESXi, rebooted and installed Dfly. Neither during installation, nor afterwards could I access the RAID5 array on the P410. ciss0 gets created, but seems to be malfunctioning. During boot, Dfly waits for some time after the line ciss0: PERFORMANT Transport before continuing. Could #1579 be related? [DragonFlyBSD - Bug #2586] (New) pf: modulate state seems problematic
Issue #2586 has been reported by srussell. Bug #2586: pf: modulate state seems problematic http://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/2586 * Author: srussell * Status: New * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: * Target version: Since 2010, I got constant reboot problems while using some particular configuration for pf. I finally found the root of the problem. I fixed it by replacing this configuration: pass out on $ext_if inet proto { tcp udp icmp } all modulate state with this: pass out on $ext_if inet proto { tcp udp icmp } all keep state It seems that de modulate state is problematic. Since I replaced it by keep state, my firewall is working normally without panic or unwanted reboots. My firewall server is using DragonFly v3.2.2.6.g1bd21-RELEASE in 32 bits. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it. [DragonFlyBSD - Bug #2587] (New) SATA DVD not detected by DragonFly
Issue #2587 has been reported by srussell. Bug #2587: SATA DVD not detected by DragonFly http://bugs.dragonflybsd.org/issues/2587 * Author: srussell * Status: New * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: * Target version: I upgraded my station for a i3-3220 chip with an H77 intel motherboard. I upgraded to the 64 bit version of DragonFly, the latest release DragonFly v3.4.3.8.g64f666-RELEASE. DF is not detecting my DVD correctly anymore. It's a SATA DVD from LG. With the previous 3.2 version, the same DVD was detected correctly. It also is detected while booting from the DVD with DragonFly 3.4. I tried to boot in safe mode, single user mode and got the same result. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
