Rather the other way 'round. Whether this is an apache bug or not... there's a discussion on the dev list at the moment. You may want to enter the talkshow there. If you have a suggestion what the Apache people actually can do to fix a problem which obvisiously doesn't appear within the httpd code base, please give us a clue, so that we can work on it. Thanks. This is not going to be fixed anytime soon. Nobody is working on it and I doubt anybody will until someone sits down and rewrites the Apache2 filter API from scratch.
