Screen remains blank after suspend

Hi,

there is a problem with suspend on my laptop (Schenker FL90). When 
opening the lid after a suspend the screen remains turned off. But the 
system itself seems to come back well (I can put in the password blindly 
and reboot). The behavior is reproducible and also occurs when I type 
'zzz' and let the lid open.


/var/log/messages only tells:

Mike means Nvidia.  We cannot resume them.

Based on the dmesg below, you have a radeon video card. We don't support
resuming that. Sorry.

You might try 'ZZZ' (hibernate), it may have a better time with the card
because it resumes from cold. But maybe not.
