*Title: Business Systems Analyst* *Location: Pittsburgh, PA* *Duration: 9 months* *Only EST Consultants* *Job Description* As a Business Systems Analyst Sr (BSA) within Information Technology group, you will be instrumental in helping to maintain our reputation for technology excellence in both business applications and new innovations - as recognized by CIO magazine and Information Week magazine. As an integral part of this team, you will identify business-unit requirements, create process specifications, coordinate with project teams and ensure that all project requirements are met. Your area is responsible for acting as the interface between technology infrastructure teams. In this role, you will remain focused on implementing solutions that align with the organization’s business objectives, and which produce value-added results. This will include assisting in defining system scope and objectives; researching and fact-finding; analyzing business and user requirements for complex projects, where risk is typically low; and managing requirements throughout each of your projects by conducting thorough testing of related applications. In addition, you will apply your knowledge of business systems and industry requirements to provide a positive impact on and help drive value for client Lines of Business. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: · A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (Business or Technology) preferred · *· 6+ years of specific LOB or Technology experience* · Integration experience with Service Now and Bladglogic · Sound planning and organizational skills · Ability to influence large service partner base without direct management authority · Experience and expertise to understand the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment Strong understanding of business systems and industry requirements Advanced communication, facilitation and elicitation skills Advanced planning and organizational skills Strong experience and proficiency compiling functional and non-functional requirements and specification documents. Ability to provide input to Product and Operations Business Analysts in the development of the business requirements documents. Author and own the development of the functional and non-functional requirements in support of the integration of capabilities for the line of business. Facilitate the mapping of Business, Functional, and Non-Functional requirements, engaging with other stakeholder teams to define dependencies across solution components. Develop end to end data flows using tools like Microsoft Visio. Identify and document Use Cases. Manage requirements through the project life cycle and managing change requests as necessary. Experience working with vendor software package teams and internally developed solutions. Identify problems and/or opportunities to improve current system, procedures, and business processes. Ensure compatibility with of all new applications with existing systems, procedures, and business processes. Maintain complete documentation of systems, procedures, and business processes including the application functionality, intent, and philosophy. Analyze and document traceability of requirements.
