Responsible for designing, testing, and implementing internal
network solutions. Maintaining and providing Tier 3 support for the network

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership to the network services staff, ensuring the IT
needs of faculty, staff, and students are met. Responsible for completing and
delivering regular audits and assessments and providing reports as are required
by regulatory agencies and management. Responsible for designing, testing, and
implementing internal network solutions. Partner with project managers on
network solution analysis, business requirements, and risk assessments. Provide
Tier 3 support to all network related service desk incidents. Sustain technical
expertise in all areas of LAN/WAN/WLAN capacity planning, network architecture
design, unified communications, and engineering for a secure IT network.
Maintain and coordinate the installation and configuration of hardware and
software elements within the network, unified communications, and security
areas with the proper use of OSI TCP/IP standards. Perform security
hardening per baseline configurations and established best practices. Perform
all other duties associated with the administration of the Network
