*Location: Detroit, MI*
*Duration: 2 Months+ (Possible extension)*
*Max Rate: $60/hr on C2C*
*Main Duties:*
1. Validate install & configuration to ensure DataStage is set up properly.
2. Evaluate the DataStage performance (suggestions to optimize?).
3. Typical Admin scripting duties, such as monitoring, checking parameters,
etc.
*Required Skills:*
* Keep the environments clean
* Provision / Terminate user access per user requests
* Provision /Terminate User access at the project level
* Update/Modify security level at Unix File System level per requirements
* Support code migration/deployment activities into Production
* Job maintenance/hot fixes in production environment (correct job
variables, unlock jobs, recompile jobs)
* Resolve the issues when the Data Stage server is down
* Standard Admin activities (recycle, shutdown and startup on demand)
* Responsible to setup access/environment to developers/project teams etc
* Responsible to handle tickets with IBM
* Automate the Health check process on servers
* Setup and maintain Lineage process
* Responsible to integrate Cognos with IIS suite.
* Upgrades/Patches installation
* Maintain the IIS Server to be up and running for all the tools listed
below.
* Create security roles if needed for all the applications under IIS suite
* Provision/terminate users for IIS Server
* Excellent in Unix scripting
