*Title: Microstrategy Architect IV*

*Duration: 3 months plus*

*Location: Columbus, OH*

*Purpose of Role*:

The MicroStrategy Architect will provide the technology leadership for all
BI related portions of our advertising analytics and attribution platform.
Will be responsible for design, implementation and support of the
MicroStrategy reporting environment. The architect will set the strategy
and solution architecture that will allow our end users to glean insights
that they cannot do today and or do so more efficiently.



*Top Accountabilities*:

•        Create and manage application architecture blueprint for
MicroStrategy BI platform

•        Support of the MicroStrategy environment to ensure high
availability, resilience, integrity, security, and performance

•        Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, create
functional and technical design and implement reporting solutions using
grid reports, dashboards and document services, visual insights, mobile and
data mining services

•        Create MicroStrategy projects to support new BI initiatives by
defining schema, setting up metadata and creating optimized reports.

•        Tune MicroStrategy reports for best SQL performance to run
efficiently and work with Database developers to optimize report and data
structure

•        Continuously review and enhance logical and physical database
designs as well as optimization for efficient reporting

•        Deploy and manage mobile reports on MicroStrategy mobile

•        Implement comprehensive plan for distribution of reports via
automation, scheduling and distribution services

•        Implement intelligent cubes for supporting advanced analytics

•        Provide administration of the MicroStrategy environment

•        Have exceptional skills in logical thinking, structured analysis
and problem solving

*Qualifications and Experience Required:*

•        7+ years "hands-on" experience with MicroStrategy

•        5+ years of experience in data warehouse architecture and
engineering

•        5+ years "hands-on" experience using Oracle PL/SQL, stored
procedures, SQL optimization skills

•        Proven experience with data integration, business intelligence and
web solutions

•        Expert at complicated report/dashboard/ Mobile design and data
modeling skills

•        Very strong business analysis experience

•        MicroStrategy environment expertise including desktop report
development, dashboards, mobile, distribution services, and datamarts.

•        Must be a MicroStrategy Certified Engineering Principal

•        Ability to work with minimal supervision, and exhibits excellent
initiative, intensity and motivation.

•        Experience with SQL data warehouse platforms

o   Data Warehouse theory and concepts –Understand facts and dimensions.

o   Dimensional Modeling theory and concepts –Familiar with Star and
Snowflake schemas

•        Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred in Computer Science /
Engineering

•        Must have excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem
solving skills.

•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•        Strong organizational and documentation skills.

•        Good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (Agile Preferred)

•        Proven ability to work independently or in conjunction with a team
