*M.O.I : Phone then F2F* *F2F IS MUST AFTER TELEPHONIC* *ONLY FOR H1B ONLY-* *H1B for this role as long as they have 3 extensions remaining on their visa* *They would love a blended skill set of analyst and database development. * *This role will be about 70% development and performance tuning & 30% analysis and administration.* *Must-haves * *-5-7 years of strong experience in relational database development including SAP ASE 15+, SAP Sybase IQ, Oracle 11G * *- Experience as a Sybase developer * *- Expertise in relational data modeling covering conceptual, logical, physical data models and dimensional data models. * *- Expertise in architecting complex large database system to provide high availability, recoverability and performance in demanding environment. * *- Expertise in implementing ETL solutions using AbInitio and Informatica* - Expertise in performance tuning and capacity planning in Operational and data-warehousing applications. - Ability to implement projects using agile and waterfall methodology. - Strong communication skills *Plusses * - Experience with Composite Information Server application suite will be a great plus. - Understanding of the security industry with focus on clearing and portfolio accounting will be a plus. *Day-to-Day* Primary duty includes one or more of the following: Planning, Programming, Modeling. Performs in one of the following sub-roles: (1) Data Base Administrator: designs and configures complex databases with replication and multi-nodes, develops comprehensive DB implementation/upgrade plans, translates logical to physical design, creates DB objects, builds backup/recovery/load scripts, and can support development thru production. Proficiency in database and/or SQL analysis and tuning; (2) Data Administrator: creates, analyzes, translates, and maintains complex logical and/or physical data models, metadata repositories, and data catalogues. Maintains security event logs. Ensures all productions changes are made in accordance with lifecycle methodology and risk guidelines.
