Title: *QA position* Client: Hitachi Location: Hillsboro, Oregon Duration: 12 months Desired Experience level* - 5+ years* Our biggest issue for this position has been communication skills and interpersonal skills. *Make sure they understand that this is not a 9-5* *job.* Responsibilities: • Write traceability matrix to link test cases to use cases., • Execute functional (manual) tests based during each iteration on traceability matrix ., • Verify unit test and code coverage reports generated by developers., • Write and execute end-to-end (integrated) automated test cases., • Oversee the quality of the software through test execution., • Oversee the quality of the process through ensuring that all artifacts are produced based on quality standards. • Provide first line support to customer on our product line. Requires to go to customer location and troubleshoot the issue. Qualifications: • Must have *5+ years *of hands-on software testing experience., • Must have a Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering., • Must be capable of working under pressure and with aggressive release timelines (2 releases a month)., • Must have more than *5 years* of recent testing experience on Linux (RHEL/CentOS preferred)., • Preferable to have more than *3 years *of recent experience working with Agile or Iterative processes., • Must have tested software written using *Java, J2EE, Application* *Server (JBoss preferred), Message Queue, Multi threading, Databases* for at least *3 years,* • Must have worked in challenging, small team environment (less than 10 members), startup experience desired., • Must be capable of juggling multiple responsibilities., • Must excel at teamwork and problem solving., • Familiarity with open source software and frameworks a must have., • Must have written automated integration tests using XUnit framework for at least 5 years., • Must have done *manual (functional) testing *of enterprise applications and platforms for at least* 5 years.,* • Experience testing software written in * C++ nice to have.,* Thanks & regards Bob Goud, Technical Recruiter & Business Development.
