*JD: As a Node.JS Developer your key responsibilities include:*



• Using Node.JS extent the core Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tool used
by  Cloud.

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

• Implementation of security and data protection

• Lead development efforts for SOSAT.

• Develop standardized Application Program Interface (APIs) that
can be used for client interaction with SOSAT core services

• Mentor junior members of the team, overseeing development work
efforts and quality



*Required Technical and Professional Expertise*



• At least 5 years of hands-on experience on Front-End Development,
JavaScript development.

• Demonstrated experience with Node.Js

• Demonstrated experience with web frameworks, preferably Express

• Demonstrated experience with NoSQL databases

• Proven ability to present to both technical and non-technical
audiences

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable
application



*Preferred Technical and Professional Experience*



• Revision control software e.g. Git/Github, Jazzhub, Rational Team
Concert (RTC)

• Agile tools and processes

• Experience with Cloudant

• Experience with Bootstrap and Jade

• Linux Operating System (OS) skills: Red Hat Enterprise Linux
(RHEL)
