Duration: 6+ months Contract
Position: Release Engineer:
Location: Bay Area, CA
The Build and Release Engineer works to ensure that software code moves
through the software development process as smoothly and quickly as
possible. This is accomplished through automation tools and practices that
are developed.
* manage PSI's code base in SVN
* support multiple engineering environments.
* Assisting in the planning, building, and maintenance of engineering
environments and infrastructure * Creating, optimizing, enhancing, and
operating build and release automation infrastructure and tools.
* Ability to work closely with engineering teams on software projects
Required Qualifications
* 1 - 2 years experience working in an engineering services capacity for a
software engineering organization utilizing agile development methodologies
* Strong knowledge of standard build and continuous integration tools such
as gmake and Hudson
* Experience in administrating and working with source code control
management systems.
