* Job Description:*



·Hands-on experience with embedded Linux systems testing;

·Understanding of LSI and disk storage a plus

·Proficient programming in at least one scripting or programming
language (TCL, Perl, Python, C, etc.).

·Proficient use of Bug tracking tools, test case management tools

·Installation and management of Linux and Windows operating systems
on enterprise servers

·Knowledge of network topology - installation and management of
hardware and firmware

·Hands-on experience with L2 switching protocols like
VLAN/STP/MSTP/RSTP/LACP

·Understanding of IPMI

·Understanding of virtualization - VMWare, Hyper-V, or other

* Qualifications and Experience*



·Configure the system under test, configure switches and routers,
and develop an understanding of the various network devices' interaction

·Obtain and analyze packet traces, and be able to determine whether
the test case criteria are met

·Conduct manual/automated traffic testing on device(s) under test

·Develop test plans

·Mentor and guide junior engineers



*Requirements/Skills*



·Bachelor of Science degree

·6-9 years of related experience

·*Experience with L2/Ethernet Switching, L3 (TCP/IP) and routing
protocol *

·Working knowledge of how to utilize traffic generation tools such
as IXIA or Spirent

·Background with TCL, Perl or any scripting languages for
functional/automated testing

·In depth C or C++programming/debugging skills

·Experience with testing design of complex software features
