. Understanding of Accounting flow for PeopleSoft Financial Modules (9.x) . General Ledger: Setting up GL Business Units, Entering Online and Spreadsheet Journals, Inter/Intra Unit Processing, Designing and maintaining Combo Edit, Suspense Accounting, and Journal Workflow Approval. . Commitment Control: Setting up Budget Definitions, Budget Attributes, and Budget Security, Processing Budget Journals, and Processing Source transactions against Control Budgets, Managing Budget Exceptions. Setting Budget Close Rules and managing Budget Close process. . Chart of Accounts: Designing and maintaining Chart of Accounts (All PeopleSoft Chartfields) and Trees (Winter/Summer/Spring). . Allocations: Setting up, maintaining allocations and troubleshooting multi-step allocations. Should be experienced working with client to understand raw requirements and transform them to PeopleSoft allocations. . Accounting Reconciliation: Knowledge in Reconciling submodules (AP/AR/AM other financial modules) to General Ledger. . Knowledge in reconciling submodules (AP/AR/AM as well as PO) to Commitment Control. . Year End Close: Setting up Closing Rules and managing year end close. . Financial Reporting: Understanding of Financial Statements: Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash Flow Statement. . SQL and PS Query: Deep expertise in building SQL and PS Query.
