*Job Title :* QA Tester / Business Financial Services Tester Jr. *Duration:* 5 Months *Location :* Lansing, MI *Rate:* $40/Hr on C2C *Position Description * The position being hired is that of Junior Financial Services Test Analyst for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Regression Testing. The Financial Services Test Analyst will be located at the General Office Building (GOB) in Dimondale, Michigan or at the Cass Building in Lansing, Michigan. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Responsible for assisting with and executing sound users test plans and cases; fully executed user testing which will result in a “zero defect” code deployment; updating user cases. Duties: • Act as Financial Services Tester in the performance of various iterations of User Acceptance (UAT) and Regression Testing • Report defects in HP Quality Center • Conduct retesting efforts • Participate in updating effort for Use Cases Skills Required Extensive experience in finance and accounting required. Extensive experience in performing User Acceptance Testing required. • Ability to understand and translate Business Requirements to test cases and scenarios • Ability to apply Best Practices to the ORS UAT and Regression testing efforts • Good knowledge of Process Mapping concepts and techniques • Attention to detail • Problem solving skills • Excellent time management skills • Excellent communication skills Skills Preferred Experience in Retirement systems testing preferred. Experience Required Quality Assurance Analyst capabilities with 1 or more years of experience of testing with user acceptance.
