This person will work closely with our business stakeholders and other software and IT team members to develop and enhance reporting capabilities and solutions using Microsoft technologies including SQL Server Reporting Services (*SSRS*), SQL Server Integration Services (*SSIS*), SQL Server Analysis Services (*SSAS*), Extract, Transform, and Load (*ETL*), Data Warehouse and Data Mart fundamentals, Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012, and industry standard best practices with the Data/BI/.Net technology stacks. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* - Ability to effectively and efficiently research and develop multiple systems simultaneously in a high-paced Team environment with minimal oversight. - Accountable for analyzing, designing and developing applications, deployments, configurations and customization projects on Microsoft SharePoint Portal platform and related technologies. - Develop SharePoint applications using Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS, MS SQL Server 2008 R2 (and newer), including the design and implementation of custom web parts and other programs utilizing the SharePoint object model. - Fundamentals of Enterprise-level Data Mart/Warehouse systems and the industry best practices. - Develop reports through Reporting Services (*SSRS*) from a variety of data sources including Analysis Services Cubes and relational databases. - Integrate third-party tools/technologies with SharePoint applications. - Design and implement custom workflows and reports in the SharePoint environment. - Design and develop user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and feature priorities throughout development life cycle. - Design and conduct testing of the developed functionality. - Collaborate with various business users and engineering resources to deliver high quality products that meet department and customer expectations for quality, scope, schedule, and budget. - Contribute to technology solutions map reviews, assess scope and related risk, and coordinate application change management processes in compliance with policy and best practices. - Effectively prioritize and manage resources to achieve maximum benefit in the delivery of company business objectives. - Establish and enforce standards to drive the delivery of high quality products. - Demonstrate good leadership by providing an objective, high energy, consistent work ethic. - Manage to the budget for development tasks. *KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES* - 10+ years of hands-on SharePoint portal based application development, implementation and execution. - Demonstrated success defining, developing and implementing software using SharePoint portal application development life cycle, related methodologies and metrics to meet business goals for quality and time-to-market. - Software development fundamentals (including object-oriented design, multi-layer design, debugging, unit-testing, automated builds, code-reviews and re-factoring etc.). - SharePoint Server 2010/2013 - SharePoint Designer 2010/2013 - Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 - Active Directory Fundamentals, understanding of Single-Sign-On and Security policies - .NET Framework/ASP.Net/C# latest versions - HTML/JavaScript/CSS, experience in UI design - Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (and newer), solid understanding of database structure design principles - Microsoft Visual Studio 2010/2012 - Working Knowledge of Report Model (smdl). - Experience with ad-hoc reporting design and tools. - Modular tier/layer application development following industry standard best practices (such as the SOLID principles) with service-based APIs and multiple types of data sources - Experience in Responsive Design development - Mobile development concepts - Proficient in Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Desired experience with Nintex workflow tools for SharePoint. - Hands-on experience is desirable in technical project management and Agile/Scrum product development life cycles. - A Bachelor’s degree required. - Collaborative but decisive personal style; highly effective communicator and problem solver. Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Interpersonal and presentation skills a must.
