• Resolve technical problems and provide engineering support to assess
customer needs and solve field issues.
• Conduct technical presentations/demonstrations as necessary.
• Participate in source code control and software release activities
• Perform other duties as required.
• Experienced with Microsoft C#, .NET, Coded UI, Selenium, and Unit Testing
• Familiar with REST, JSON, and IIS
• Familiar with SQL databases, queries, and schema creation
• Familiar with HTML, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of unit and integration testing techniques and methods
• Familiar with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure a plus

Responsibilities Include:
•Analyze Product and Customer requirements and design effective test cases
to meet those.
•Work closely with team members and with other teams to ensure quick
resolution of Customer reported issues.
•Write, review and implement test plans and test cases (both manual and
automated).
•Take ownership of certain product module QA effort and perform the
required testing for all software modification
•Work with Operations team to resolve production issues as needed.
•Document all Test artifacts including Test Cases, Test Plans in the Test
Case Management System

•5+ years prior experience in Software QA,
 •Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience acceptable.
 •Very strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills.
 •Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle:
Specification/Design/Implementation/Testing/Release.
 •Experience with and understanding of databases (Oracle, SQL).
 •Familiarity with Unix or Linux and Windows operating systems Must be
comfortable using standard UNIX utilities to do testing and identify issues.
 •Strong working knowledge of software build and release management
processes such as maintaining QA environment would be a plus.
 •Self-motivated, quick learner and creative problem solver, organized, and
responsible team player
 •Experience with sonic MQ, JMS Test Client would be a plus
 •Experience with Web Services testing and FIX integration testing would be
a plus
 •Experience with automation tools (QTP preferable) and/or experience with
Java or Perl programming would be a Plus.

Position Summary GENERAL SUMMARY: The white box Sr. QA Engineer for Platform
Engineering defines and implements white-box and black-box testing
procedures and test cases for Platform components, frameworks and APIs.
He/She demonstrates eagerness to test various core platform level API and
frameworks. He/She initiates and contributes to automated testing suites for
regression testing core technologies, products and web-based applications.
Position Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES  RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Project Planning  Testing
• Participate in all the design and implementation processes for new and
existing platform technologies
• Define and design black-box, gray-box and white-box and automated testing
suites for core technologies, products and web-based applications
o Develop, execute and maintain testing frameworks and test suites
o Develop, execute and maintain test programs (Core Java and J2EE) for both
API and System levels
o Develop, execute and maintain test automation scripts where applicable
o Develop, execute and maintain Functional, Integration and Regression tests
for new and existing frameworks and applications
• Provide QA estimation (LOE) for new projects
• Participate in review and approval processes for project deliverables
• Advise project teams on tools and processes to build testable deliverables

• Develop Test Strategy and Test Plan for each new project
• Work with the application developers to generate and maintain test data
• Assist project teams on identifying the needs of test environments and
coordinate the implementation of these environments as applicable
• Ensure that Criteria for Entry and Exit for each Gates are met per QA Life
Cycle
• Oversee processes for identifying, tracking and reporting the results of
testing per QA Life Cycle
• Responsible for finding, tracking and prioritizing bugs and driving them

2. Production Support
