*Position:- SAP Technical Track Lead / Project Manager * *Duration:- 12 Months* *Location:- Houston, TX* *MOI:- Telephonic + Skype* *Client seeking an "A-player" high-level SAP Project Manager for a 12 month project in Houston, TX. (20 miles southeast of downtown Houston, in Webster, TX.), with only limited travel to other locations (i.e. Denver).* The Technical Track PM reports in partnership to the client's Technical Track Lead and upwards to the SAP Program Project Manager, and is responsible to: - Coordinate definition of the technical implementation strategy with guidance from Project Manager and Technical Track Oversight team - Preparation and maintenance of the technical track project plan, technical work plan, and technical track status and reporting tools - Supervision of technical track project activities and production or technical track deliverables - Regular communication with Functional team, and Communication of technical project status to the Project Manager and project team - Resolve/escalate technical track issues and bring technical support to bear from various technical resources, whether SAP Program team or 3rd-party providers - The Technical Track Lead participates in the management and status meetings as requested by the Project Manager. In addition, the Technical Track Lead participates as an active member of the Change Management Team as requested by the Project Manager *The ideal candidate for this SAP Technical Track Lead – Project Manager position has the following:* · 10-15+ years of SAP experience in a functional, technical *AND project management role* · Excellent MS PowerPoint and related presentation skills · Is a VERY organized and articulate SAP Project Manager (outgoing DRIVER of technical tasks) and they must exude confidence and be able to “take charge” · Is VERY technical and can discuss SAP Basis (landscape, transports, security), WRICEF development (and can MANAGE the development team) · Also, the client is a medical device company, so SAP life sciences would "nice", but NOT required - would be a bonus. SAP-centric project management, with SAP technical knowledge/experience is paramount, with mature, confident and articulate communications style are the focal requirements.
