The recently received BVARC Beacon newsletter for November has 3 very important notices and requests, so please have a read of them.
1) November 8th meeting is Election night. Looking for candidates for the offices of V.P., Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, 2 Year At Large and 1 Year At Large Directors. Please consider throwing your hat in the ring. 2) Chili Supper -- make a pot of your favorite chili and bring it to share with the rest of the club. BVARC supplies *everything* else. If you can't bring Chili, just come hungry! . 3) Station in a Box Raffle -- Tickets will be on sale $2 each and the drawing will be held toward the end of the night. A full HF station PLUS a 2 meter FM mobile transceiver donated to the cause last month. Questions on any of this, call or e-mail me.
