Re: [BVARC] Looking for good end fed antennas

That's what I use too. It's a compromise radiator for sure, but it's super
convenient, can work all bands with just the internal tuner on my FT-DX1200.

I've used an Alpha J-Pole SR a few times and it has worked great. I've
hung it from a tree, from my painters pole, and Mike had it on the
Battleship Texas last year for Museum Ships Weekend. No tuner needed for
20m, tunes easily on the other bands

Hello BVARC,

Looking for a good end fed antenna to hang on my 35 foot push up mast
next to the house. Being next to the house all my other antennas
patterns are disrupted to a degree by the house or roof with the
antennas I currently have (10M Moxon, Alpha- Delta DX-EE). I figure
with an end fed antenna I can go out from 2 feet off the edge of the
house better in many directions than dipole does being a center fed
configuration. Just need a good end fed brand to go after. I have
my antennas fed by RG8x coax cable 100 foot. Please advise.

Try LNR Precision, and their PAR EndFedZ antennas. I use the 10/20/40.

[BVARC] Looking for good end fed antennas

2017-06-03 Thread Gayle Dotts via BVARC
Hello BVARC,

Looking for a good end fed antenna to hang on my 35 foot push up mast next
to the house. Being next to the house all my other antennas patterns are
disrupted to a degree by the house or roof with the antennas I currently
have (10M Moxon, Alpha- Delta DX-EE). I figure with an end fed antenna I
can go out from 2 feet off the edge of the house better in many directions
than dipole does being a center fed configuration. Just need a good end
fed brand to go after. I have my antennas fed by RG8x coax cable 100
foot. Please advise.

Thank you guys!
