I thought you may be interested in how the KK5W Mega Field Day has performed
during the last five years. These numbers were taken from the 3830Scores web
site. 

 

While FD has always been about community service and promotion of ham radio,
hams are encouraged to teach about ham radio, antennas and operation of
radios. ARRL specifically encourages ham radio operators to make as many
QSO's as possible during the 24 hours of operation, almost like a fun
contest. The table below shows the QSO's and Points for KK5W during the last
five years. KK5W has done well in the past. Let's see if we can improve on
our score this year while having fun doing it.
