I went by there a couple of months ago and he had a selection of used Ham gear (transceivers) displayed. There may have been a few new mobile VHF and UHF antennas - I don't remember exactly. The prices of the used gear were very reasonable. 73, Neal N5EN From: BVARC on behalf of Rick Hiller via BVARC Sent: Tuesday, July 26, 2022 5:11 PM To: Rudolph Ackerman ; BRAZOS VALLEY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB Cc: Rick Hiller Subject: Re: [BVARC] river Oaks Car Stereo Call them.Eddie, owner, NU5K Or Dwayne, KB5YTA Sent from my i-Thingamajig > On Jul 26, 2022, at 4:34 PM, Rudolph Ackerman via BVARC > wrote: > > I have seen this name come up several times. [BVARC] river Oaks Car Stereo
I have seen this name come up several times. I have found their web site, but it really did not say what they carried in the way of ham gear. Can someone provide a little insight to what they carry. Oh I'm down south a bit so it's a long drive in Houston traffic just to check them out and to find out they dont have anything.
