The 444.3 machine is locked up. It is a scheduled repeater and cannot be
controlled by anyone but the owner. What you need to use is one of the public
machines. There are two other machines in the 70cm band that are open and can
be used for IRLP connections. One is 442.0. I don't have my radio handy at
the moment so I can't tell you what the other one is.
If you are still having issues finding an open IRLP repeater I'll post the
others tonight.
