Re: [Cameramakers] camera adaptor question
Hey Murray, I haven't boxed up your stuff yet ( I know, I know) but I have a good running Copal press with a 127mm Tominon. It's from a Polaroid mp-3, I think. I'll put it n the box and you can see how it works out. If good you can have it v.cheap. The Xenar might just screw right into it by the way. Shutter fix or substitution question: Crown Graphic with Schneider Xenar 135/4,7 in Compur Synchro P Shutter is messed up - they had an external spring pulling the shutter cocking lever back to where it belonged which makes the shutter run at different speeds but they seem abnormal. Is this shutter replaceable with anything else, or are the lens element spacing going to mandate the repair of the Compur? Howdy Ya'll, I bought two element groups of a 40 BL telestigmat. I have no barrel so I have to make one. Can anyone tell me the distance between the element groups? Also, it appears that the rear group is diverging so can anyone give me some idea how far the rear element normally is from the film? [Cameramakers] re: 100 Megapixel Graflex Speed Graphic
Subject: [Cameramakers] 100 Megapixel Graflex Speed Graphic My interest in photography is very-high resolution digital imagery, at low cost. I have had good success with a Graflex Speed Graphic combined with an Epson Perfection 2450 scanner. (Lost attributes - sorry) If you wish to deploy your very large digital images on the Web, and (for now) don't mind that only Windows platforms can display them, check out what's built into PS7. Here's a site that demos a couple large images. Let the plugin download, then zoom in and pan using the mouse. As you zoom in the image will blur to let you navigate at magnification, then after you release the mouse, the image will fill in the detail. (Only the images on the left pertain.) http://arts.winona.edu/i/mc/index.html I'll be putting up some 50mb images when I find the time. Feel free to contact me if you wish your image put up. ___ Cameramakers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://rmp.opusis.com/mailman/listinfo/cameramakers
