But you can write your own Custom mediator to achieve this through ESB. Rather writing a custom mediator, WSO2 Data Services Server itself contains inbuilt feature to use Excel as a data-source and extract the data. So you can use either WSO2 DSS product or you can install data-services feature within ESB and use it from there.
