Re: [Care2002-developers] Trac: MVC (2.7)

2011-03-31 Thread Robert Meggle
Hi Mayala,

we had not started the discussion on framework basis. :D
First aim: gettext - how to morph the existing 2.7 into a layer
technology that the code structure will have a more clear character.
Many many thanks to Gjergj about his hard work on this step!
You can take a look at the branch gettext what is planned.

Aim: When there is a new version rolling out - then it must be possible
to upgrade from 2.7 and its database structure. All other solutions are
not acceptable. That will have the need now for detailed prepared steps
before focusing framework.

Hi Robert.
It have been a long time since i replied or started a discussion on the
mailing list.
my point here is the MVC (2.7) version of care2x! sound good idea. it is a
1+ for me.
my hope is that this also will easy also the developer learning curve as
compared to
the current way of coding care2x. are you working this on the development
trunk?
cause i want to go with the flow. i have been using the Kohana php
framework for my
development. again have you started developing a new framework from
scratch or you have
just adopted one of the available framework!

Regards,

Mayala
