Re: [cas-user] Java CAS Client 3.2.2 ?

2014-09-05 Thread Scott Battaglia
I just released it. It will take a bit of time to make it out into the
world.

Those changes sound fine to me and worth making to get a fixed Java CAS
Client 3.2.2 out the door.

Re: [cas-user] Java CAS Client 3.2.2 ?

2014-09-01 Thread Scott Battaglia
If I make the following changes I can get a 3.2.2 build:

1. Ignore Saml11TicketValidatorTests (its running into some issue with the
way it starts the server; apparently we ignore these on master which is
weird)
2. Update Spy Memcache Client to latest version (only more recent versions
are in Maven Central)
3. Update Atlassian repository to new location

I am assuming no one has any issue with these changes to get a 3.2.2 build
out. If not, I'll cut the release tomorrow night.

Wrong base branch. Let's try again:

https://github.com/Jasig/java-cas-client/pull/81

As I noted previously, the Atlassian modules are causing problems for
a clean build. They're not worth the time to fix in my view since they
are totally out of scope for the fix, but a broken build will
complicate (possibly block) the release process. At least the patch is
out there now and folks can apply it manually if needed.

I've been traveling for work but I could probably do a release on Monday
night if the code is ready. I could probably also just apply the change
too. But I know I won't get to it before Monday.

2014-08-28 Thread Jérôme LELEU
Hi,

Nice proposal.
However, as we already have our security filter to protect older CAS
clients, shouldn't we focus on releasing it quickly?

What are the users' feedbacks on it?

Thanks.

I'm happy to provide patches, but I need someone to step up to do the
release process.
