Regarding the kernel and filesystem, which you advise me to use?

The kernel

The filesystem

The next Friday I will travel to Mexico to pick up one ROACH1!
I was given the opportunity to program it!
How you advise me to start learning to program a ROACH?

Hi Louise,

This is should actually be changed to a warning. It used to be there to ensure
that the versions of Matlab and Xilinx were compatible and they were the
versions that we supported. You should be able to ignore it and continue with
the setup you have.

You can change the script to not give this error for your version by editing
this file
 and
between lines 56 and 80.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: [casper] CASPER installation problems CRM:0028623

2016-04-06 Thread Wesley New
Hi Louise,

Yes this is because of you are running it on windows. We haven't run the
tools on windows in probably 5 years, which makes it hard for us to
support. I would suspect that the Python code is pretty platform
independent but there is no guarantee. Maybe someone else has and they can
provide some insight.

/ISE/sysgen/bin/lin64' is in your Xilinx install directory. Have a look
there for this folder. You will also have to add this environment variable.

I would suggest dual booting with Ubuntu 14.04, there is a wiki page on how
to setup the tools here

.

Also please cc the casper mailing list on any questions as they will be of
use to others in the community. casper@lists.berkeley.edu You will need to
subscribe before being able to send to the list.
