Submit patch link in jira

2009-05-14 Thread Jonathan Ellis
this marks the ticket as I have a patch available so it shows up
here:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=truepid=12310865status=10002

let's try to remember to use this since it makes it easier to see what
is ready for review. I know I have been sloppy here in the past and I
will try to do better too.

On a related note, what's the deal with the Start work link? I used
to see it, but not so much for the newer tickets.

Hmm.. anyone know how to configure the Issue Navigator to include the
Patch Info column? When I click through to configure, it claims the
column is already there, but it's not there when I do a search. Odd.

I think that went away when we switched from generic JIRA to the ASF workflow.

It'd be really nice to have it now that a push is being made to use
the feature. What has to happen in order for it to be changed? I
assume discussion here but after that?

If it's just a JIRA configuration setting, the mentors should have the
rights to change it (I don't). If it's more than that, the place to
ask is infrastruct...@apache.org.
