[cayugabirds-l] Brown Creeper
I saw a Brown Creeper singing today..on Connecticut Hill Road. The song didn't seem (sounded like it was coming from another direction )to be coming from the bird I was watching but finally I saw his beak moving as I heard the song. It hardly stopped foraging to sing. Altogether it struck me as a secretive or shy bird. Just south of Long Point Orchard on Rt. 90, about 5:30 pm. West side of road. It's the first I've seen there this spring.
