[cayugabirds-l] Clay-colored Sparrow at the Montezuma Audubon Center

2016-05-12 Thread Chris Lajewski
I saw and heard one Clay-colored Sparrow this morning in the grassland between
the Montezuma Audubon Center at the Black Walnut Grove on the north side of the
building. We also had really nice looks at the Bald Eagles, Osprey, and
American Kestrel. Here is the eBird list.

[cayugabirds-l] Tennessee warbler

2016-05-12 Thread Suan Hsi Yong
New this morning at Hawthorn Orchard was a Tennessee warbler (possibly
two), singing rather less incessantly than "normal", along with several
Nashvilles, Blackburnian, Black-and-white, Blue-Winged, Magnolia, Yellow,
and a quietly singing Canada Warbler first heard by Chris T-H in the
ravine. All this was around the Northeast entrance to the woods.

The orchards remain "quiet but non-empty" as it has been all this week.
Here's hoping for fallout tomorrow or Saturday.

Suan
