[cayugabirds-l] C Loon

2022-04-04 Thread Muhammad Arif
There is a Common Loon off of east shore park. Saw it earlier around 1pm a
little north of the park when driving by but couldn't stop to check. Stopped by
around 6pm to double check and it is still here close to the park.

There is also a horned grebe.

[cayugabirds-l] Nest box

2022-04-04 Thread Carol Keeler
I went down Armitage Rd. looking for wood ducks. No luck. I looked for the
Prothonotary Warbler’s nest box and could not find it. It’s gone. Does anyone
know what’s going on? Is it going to be replaced? I’d hate to see them return
to no nest box.

About 3pm, we saw one south of the lighthouse as well as north of the spit
