Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)






     11/4: A CATTLE EGRET was again seen from Armitage Road.

     11/5: An EURASIAN WIGEON and a BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER were seen from 
Armitage Road

     11/6: 3 WILSON’S SNIPE and 2 RUDDY DUCKS were seen along the Wildlife 
Drive. An AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER was seen from Armitage Road.







Cayuga County






     11/3: 15 SNOW BUNTINGS were seen at the Sterling Nature Center.







Oswego County






     10/31: An EVENING GROSBEAK was seen on Depot Road in West Monroe.

     11/1: 2 EVENING GROSBEAKS were seen on Sol Davis Road in Williamston.

     11/2: 1 EVENING GROSBEAK was seen in Constantia.

     11/3: A late OSPREY and all 3 SCOTER species were seen at the Sandy Pond 
Outlet on Lake Ontario.

     11/5: A WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER was seen at the Sandy Pond Outlet.







Onondaga County

     10/31: An EVENING GROSBEAK was seen in Manlius.

     11/1: A LINCOLN’S SPARROW was seen in the LeMoyne College Woods in 
Syracuse.

     11/5: A CACKLING GOOSE was found with close to 1,000 Canadas in Van Buren 
Park in Baldwinsville. A GOLDEN EAGLE was seen at the Pleasaant Valley Preserve 
east of Marcellus.

     11/6: A late FOX SPARROW was seen at Three Rivers WMA north of 
Baldwinsville.







Madison County






     11/3: A GOLDEN EAGLE was seen from Indian Lookout Road north of Cazenovia. 
An EVENING GROSBEAK was found on Hawes Road on Eaton Reservior.

     11/5: 6 RED CROSSBILLS were seen in the Charles E Baker State Forest near 
Brookfield. 5 were seen near the same spot the next day.

     11/6: 25 SNOW BUNTINGS were seen on Harp Road near Canastota.







Oneida County






     11/3: A PINE SISKIN was found in Whitesboro

     11/4: 3 EVENING GROSBEAKS were found at Spring Farms nature Sanctuary 
south of Clinton.
