All 5 baby Barn Swallows were sitting on the edge of their nest when I got home
around 1 yesterday afternoon and the first swooped out of the nest as I
watched. Two more left over the course of the afternoon, at different times.
(I'd check between piano lessons.) Two were left at dusk, and when I checked
this morning there was just one left and it left sometime this afternoon. It's
been fun having them so easy to watch over my dining room window.
