Join the Montezuma Audubon Center Staff at White Springs Winery in Geneva for wine tastings and a bird watching walk. During this walk we will look for birds heading to their evening roosting sites and we’ll use these sightings to contribute to a global scientific project. Audubon Educators will show participants how to use the Merlin Birding App, as well as eBird, which are part of Cornell University’s Lab of Ornithology’s ongoing citizen science projects. Don’t have a smart phone or tablet? Don’t worry! Anyone can be part of these projects, join us and we’ll show you how. After our walk, we will enjoy a select tasting of White Springs wines, including the oh so fresh and fruity Moon Shadow Riesling, paired with local artisan cheeses!
