While recording BROWN CREEPER in Shindagan Hollow this morning, I heard my first of year HERMIT THRUSH singing under the balsams. This was south, out of the basin.

However, while recording the two LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSHES singing on Leonard Road, I found a pair of BLUE-HEADED VIREOS doing call-and- response. One would sing. The other would repeat the same song. The first would sing, the second would repeat it.
