It's official: the first time ever that I have Bluebirds nesting in my yard! Out on the closeline pole where John Blizzard put a couple of Doug Carlter's bluebird boxes. House Wrens usually stake a claim on the one on the tree just outside the dining rm window, sometimes another pair on the clothesline pole box, but there was a male Bluebird claiming it this time, and the female nearby in the redbuds. A Tree Swallow may be in the second one on the pole, but with my mowing today I think they've all had enough tension so will check it out more closely another day.
