I stop by the Slaterville Springs Dandy store several times a week to get a newspaper on my way to/from "work". I hadn't seen the owl or months. It really surprised me that David saw it, and also gave me considerable pleasure. I looked at the cavity at about 11:00 this morning. It wasn't there when I went in the store, but when I glanced at the hole when I came back, there was this gray, streaked ball of feathers filling up the hole.
Hoot, John > > The cavity is about half way up a tree at the back edge of the parking > lot on the left side of the Dandy Mart on Rt. 79 in the village of > Slaterville Springs (in the town of Caroline).
