New birds at the Goetchius Preserve this morning were: Eastern Kingbird Bobolink...three males together in a jangling group
Also, Solitary Sandpiper Barn and Tree Swallows Wilson's Snipe Northern Flicker Field Sparrow etc, etc The lack of Eastern Meadowlark at the preserve so far is a bit disappointing...most years there has been a pair nesting there, starting usually before the Bobolinks show up. Unless anyone else has seen them there already? John Confer?
