Hi all,
I have been seeing fairly large pieces of plastic bags/ sheets in the American
Robins nest last few years and I have been wanting to survey the robin nests
and plastics in them. This year I have so far seen only one nest with plastic
of the dimension of approximately 10 inches x 5 to 6 inches.

I am curious to know where they put plastic sheet. Is it above the mud plasters
or do they integrate it into mud plaster. Also If it is above the mud plaster
how the rain water is collected or drained.

So this is the best time to locate Robin nests. If you have one near your house
or see one somewhere and has plastic in it, could you please email me the
location and size of the plastic if you find any plastic in it?

About lunch walk - I took a lunch walk today afternoon hoping for an eagle or
two. All I found was a few Turkey Vultures, three migrating Red-tailed Hawks
and two Killdeer, besides Chickadees and nut hatches.
