Meanwhile, In the middle of the basin.... Crazy. Two black vultures we're circling near ReUse on Old Elmira at around 4:45, with about 25 TUVUs. After a minute of my watching the two took off southeast toward South Hill and eventually out of site over the ridge... no Turkey Vultures went in that direction. Most were still kettling after a few minutes and the TUVUs that were leaving the group were streaming approximately west/southwest toward Trader Joes.
