For those who don’t get text alerts. Yesterday afternoon at 2:30, I found a(the) adult gray Gyrfalcon at the Seneca Stone quarry at Canoga Road. It was visible from Hoster Road in the northernmost trees along the quarry entrance. Fortunately Dave and Kathy Tetlow happened to appear at the perfect time to see it before it disappeared within 10 minutes. A lightly barred adult with quite a bit of white in the breast. Beware a heavily marked large Peregrine also in the area. Mike Tetlow
