Position: .Net Development Manager/.Net Manager

Location : Chicago, IL

Duration: 12+ month

Client Industry: CAI  Finance

Description:

*.Net Development Manager*

*Up to 30% travel will be required for this role as needed*


*MUST HAVE:*

12+ years’ experience *building applications* including:

· Browser-based consumer/client-facing applications with
exceptional design skills

· *.NET*

· JavaScript MV* frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, EmberJS, BackboneJS,
KnockoutJS)

· ASP.Net

· C#

· Ajax

· ADO.Net

· 8+ years recent experience as a *Manager* of technical teams

· Roles must have included both hands on technical work as well as
management of direct reports (hiring, firing, coaching, day to day
management, etc)

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business information
systems, business/technology, or a related field

· Knowledge of design and architectural patterns including
microservices architecture and Web API 2.0 REST

· Experience with Agile Scrum development process

· Familiarity with popular IOC (inversion of control) containers
such as Unity or Castle Windsor

· Experience with source control

· Experience with Microsoft Excel-based reporting from web
applications

· SQL Server 2012/2014 experience including:

· Database design

· Querying

· Stored procedures

· Views

· Joins

· Performance

· Strong written and oral communication skills

*NICE TO HAVE:*

· Tax industry experience

· PMP, SCRUM, or other certifications

· Certified Scrum Developer

· QlikView

· Tableau

· SharePoint

· SSIS

· Masters Degree or higher

· Prior Big 4 experience
