Warren, NJ.*Below is the job description and if you’d like to pursue this,

This is for a . Java experience is a bonus but not a requirement.

*Main Responsibilities:*

   - Design, implement, and support a cloud based infrastructure for
   delivering virtual reality
   - experiences across various clients
   - Develop the code architecture and core services framework all
   microservices within the
   - services team
   - Decide the appropriate technologies and platforms to support the
   coordination of
   - multiple services at large scale
   - Provide technical standards, processes, and designs for backend
   services engineers
   - Implement APIs for authoring, encoding, and serving video streams and
   related content
   - Debug and maintain deployed applications across various servers on
   Amazon’s
   - infrastructure


*Required Skills/Experience:*

   - 8+ years developing Java applications deployed in the cloud
   - Strong, in-depth knowledge of the Spring Framework; including Spring
   Security, Spring
   - Boot, and Spring Cloud
   - Experience with online video streaming solutions and video encoding
   technologies.
   - Should well-versed in video codecs, formats, and adaptive streaming
   solutions for both
   - live streaming and video on demand
   - Experience designing RESTful APIs and deploying on modern HTTP servers
   running in
   - Amazon’s cloud
   - Solid understanding of JEE APIs, their benefits, and how to utilize
   them in production
   - applications
   - Knowledgeable on relational and non-relational databases. Must be
   comfortable writing
   - complex queries by hand as well as using common Java libraries such as
   Hibernate or
   - Spring Data
   - Fluency with Git, automated deployments, and Debian-based Linux servers
   - Passionate about technology and building high quality, reliable
   solutions for a variety of
   - problems
   - Optional Expertise – desired, not required
   - Virtual or augmented reality
   - Familiar with AWS CloudFront, EC2, S3, and Route 53 systems
   - Able to implement and update build scripts using Maven and/or Gradle
   - Experience developing and maintaining single page Javascript apps
   using AngularJS
   - Can use FFMpeg command line and the libav library to transcode assets
   - Understanding and ability to write unit, system, and integration tests
   in Java
